Questions people ask
Is the exit survey anonymous?
The name question is optional, so answers aren’t tied to a name unless someone adds one. In a small team, people may still be recognizable from their answers, so share results as patterns rather than quotes.
When should people fill it in?
Most teams share the link in someone’s last week or just after they leave, alongside or instead of an exit interview. A little distance often brings franker answers.
Can I change the reasons for leaving?
Yes. Use the template and it becomes a draft you can change completely: edit the reasons to fit your company, add questions, or delete what you don’t need.
Where do the answers go?
Every response lands in your form’s Responses tab. Download them as a CSV to count the most common reasons over time.
